J Equine -Terms of Business
1. Introduction
These terms of business outline the standard conditions under which J Equine provides equine intimate health services, Clipping and PEMF Services.
By booking a service, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
2. Services provided
J Equine offers a range of equine intimate health services, including but not limited to sheath cleaning, health checks, veterinary recommendations, Clipping Services and PEMF Sessions. Detailed information on each service is provided upon request or on our website.
3. Booking and Cancellations-
All services must be booked in advance by contacting us via Phone, Email or Social Media.
A cancellation notice of at least 72 hours is required to avoid cancellation fees.
If a booking is missed without prior notice, a fee of £15 will be charged.
For repeat or scheduled services, cancellations made less than 72hrs in advance will incur a 50% charge unless authorised otherwise by J Equine.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients must ensure that all relevant medical information regarding the horse is provided prior to the service.
If veterinary approval is required for a procedure, clients are responsible for obtaining approval before the service.
Clients agree to provide a safe and suitable environment for the performance of services and ensure that the horse is fit for the treatment.
5. Payment
Payment for services must be made on the day that the services is being performed.
We accept payment via Cash, Card or Bank Transfer.
A deposit of £15 may be required to secure bookings for certain services.
6. Risk and Liability
All services are provided with due care and professionalism. However, J Equine is not liable for any injuries, damages, or complications arising from pre-existing conditions or failure to follow veterinary instructions.
Clients are advised to maintain appropriate insurance for their horses and for any third-party liability.
7. Confidentiality and Data Protection
Personal data provided by clients will be kept confidential and stored in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We will not share personal data with third parties unless required by law or for service provision purposes.
8. Compliance with Regulations
J Equine complies with all relevant industry regulations, including those set out by the Animal Welfare Act 2006, the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966, and other applicable laws.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they adhere to relevant regulations concerning the care and health of their horses.
9. Veterinary Involvement
If veterinary involvement is deemed necessary or if the horse’s health condition requires attention beyond our scope, we will inform the client and may refer them to a veterinarian.
All procedures will be carried out in accordance with veterinary advice, and clients will be responsible for any associated costs.
10. Amendments to Terms
J Equine reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes in writing or via our website.
Continued use of our services after any amendments constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably.
If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be referred to arbitration or legal steps, as appropriate.
